![]() ![]() Mechanically speaking though a good time waster this game’s mechanics are pretty lackluster. I can’t be too critical of a flash game however, I can be very critical of a $20 game, and for what you get this game is just not worth it. Also, the UI is lacking a lot, no volume slider (but a graphics one?), only number keys for weapons and your pan stuff so get used to clicking a lot, when you save it tries to get you to make an account with them (yuck), things like achievements can only be accessed from your home, the inventory is just a cluttered mess that could have really used some organization, and a quest log would have been helpful. ![]() What is perhaps the worst though is just how annoying the map is to navigate and how much time it takes to get everywhere, it makes it feel like the game is just wasting your time. It does have combat to break up the going-to-work loop, but it is pretty weak movement feels odd, melee attacks are hard to use, and using ranged weapons is just simple kiting. It all becomes repetitive really quickly and detracts from the game. The complexity and difficulty are so limited I was able to complete the game in under 4 hours which included goofing off, and there is nothing wrong with that, well unless you are trying to charge $20 for the damn game. ![]() Mostly what you are doing is managing time between stat building, work, side activities, and completing the limited story content. Unlike many other life sims, this game’s complexity is heavily limited though. It is far simpler than many others build up stats, get a job, get promoted, talk to people, commit violence, and build up wealth. I do like it, and would give it a positive recommendation but it is just not worth grabbing for what you actually get.Īs far as gameplay goes Stick RPG 2 is a simulation game. And as far as Flash games go it is a pretty good one. Stick RPG 2 was a game I played back when it was available as a flash game. ![]()
